About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Motion Control Specialist to join our team at Bottero S.p.A. in Rovereto, Italy. As a key member of our new start-up branch, you will play a crucial role in developing solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies to automate the industrial hollow glass forming process.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong technical communication with customers, organize and follow-up on plant tests, and document field tests to capitalize on improvements.
- Research & Development: Support the definition of product specifications and requirements from the Forming Engineering perspective, translate glass production needs into requirements for process automation systems, and participate in agile practices as the voice of the customer.
- Management: Report to management and participate in periodical technical steering committees.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English, which will be the official language of the new company.
- Team player with a strong ability to collaborate and support colleagues.
- Widely open to written and oral communication.
- Overlapping skills to ensure continuity of work even in the absence of an engineer.
- Result-oriented with quick actions to stabilize software in a plant.
- Contributor with proactive ideas and proposals.
- Availability to travel.
