Product Development Specialist

We are Art Cosmetics, a leading Italian B2B contract manufacturer of color cosmetics. Our role on the global market is to deliver innovation, supporting our creativity with sound technical and scientific expertise.
We are seeking a Product Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be in charge of identifying and growing business opportunities in the Powder category, presenting innovative ideas and working collaboratively with R&D to deliver quality products on time.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Proposing new ideas for textures, design, and shades, and participating in the improvement of the existing product portfolio
- Studying new launches with R&D, including new concepts, ingredients, and textures
- Staying up-to-date with the latest beauty and lifestyle trends and finding opportunities for new products, variations, and ideas
- Working on shade proposals according to trends and clients' briefs
- Maintaining and organizing the color library
- Identifying, selecting, and trying new raw materials with suppliers
- Driving market analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Providing marketing support, developing marketing sheets, and presenting products to clients
- Working on new ideas and blue-sky projects
- Requiring a Bachelor's degree as a minimum and at least 3 years of experience in makeup product development, with color perception and color matching skills, as well as knowledge of technologies
- Good knowledge of English, with an additional language a plus
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and ability to find solutions
- Effective workload planning, respect of deadlines, ability to define priorities, and manage stress in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Good analytical skills and ability to work autonomously
- Self-motivation and great sense of responsibility
