We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Front-End Developer to join our Engineering Innovations team at ENGINEERINGUK. About the RoleThis role requires a strong technical background in front-end development, with expertise in React/JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, XML/JSON, and Responsive/Adaptive Design. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable front-end applications that meet the needs of our customers.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute innovative front-end solutions that leverage Amazon's canvas. Your expertise in creative ideation and brainstorming sessions will help shape the direction of our front-end innovations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality front-end applications using React/JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, XML/JSON, and Responsive/Adaptive Design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute innovative front-end solutions.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate new ideas and technologies.
- Mentor and coach junior developers on best practices in front-end development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to inform and improve our front-end innovations.
- 7+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React/JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, XML/JSON, and Responsive/Adaptive Design.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.
- Familiarity with GenAI/LLMs, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Alexa, Voice Design.
- Experience with Figma to translate designs to websites.
- Experience with AWS in production environments.
- Understanding of WCAG AA standards and accessibility fluency.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Design, or equivalent professional experience.
- Recognized as an expert in your field, often contributing to the broader community through accolades, awards, and patents.
- Familiarity with Android and/or iOS development.
We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and perks. If you are passionate about front-end development and innovation, we encourage you to apply.
