Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

This is a key role ensuring successful implementation and enforcement of the defined global commodity strategies, plans and vision, maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with site teams and external suppliers.

As a Procurement Manager at Rotork, you will be working as part of a large team who support Operation and Service functions.

In this role, you will define, manage and maintain appropriate sets of vendors with contracts / price frameworks, manage all supplier price changes and supplier price amendments requests and be responsible for the full understanding of the key supplier performance metrics.

This role would suit a strong negotiator who is able to communicate at all levels, demonstrating interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement global commodity strategies and plans
• Maintain positive relationships with site teams and external suppliers
• Manage vendor contracts and price frameworks
• Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics

Requirements:

• 5+ years Procurement related experience
• Strong sourcing background with evidence of strategy development
• Familiar with MRP systems (e.g. D365, SAP, Oracle)
• Relevant industry experience (desirable)
