Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide senior legal support and expertise to our business units, ensuring that all legal matters are handled with the highest level of professionalism and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents with an acceptable level of risk.
- Support the business in all legal and contractual matters, including claim management, dispute settlement, and contractual evaluation of tender documents.
- Proactively manage and instruct litigation, arbitration, or other dispute matters.
- Handle corporate law matters and promote the Alstom Code of Ethics.
Requirements
- Law degree in business law (Master II).
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in an international business environment or law firm.
- Familiarity with international contracts and previous exposure to international practice through studies or work experience.
- Familiarity with public tenders.
- Open-minded and solution-oriented.
- Teamwork spirit.
- Ability to provide sound risk analysis and reasoning.
- Willingness to take initiatives and responsibilities.
