FEM Structural Optimization Engineer

QuEST Global is a leading engineering services firm with expertise in top OEMs across seven industries. We are seeking a skilled FEM structural optimization engineer to support our customers' designers in developing cost out initiatives for aero engine design optimization.
The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and at least one year of FEA-related experience in the industry. They will be responsible for generating FEM/analytical models of mechanical parts, modules, and assemblies, and performing static, dynamic, structural, and thermal analysis using tools such as ANSYS, Hypermesh, or Patran/Nastran.
The successful candidate will have excellent documentation and presentation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent team-work attitude. They will also be able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate FEM/analytical models of mechanical parts, modules, and assemblies.
- Perform static, dynamic, structural, and thermal analysis using FEM tools.
- Develop macros and codes for pre-processing and post-processing activities.
- Learn and apply customer standard procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- At least one year of FEA-related experience in the industry.
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent team-work attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
