Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview

Vinci Construction is seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team on a prestigious breakwater project in Genoa, Italy.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating crawler cranes with capacities ranging from 150 to 500 tons, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of stone column works. This involves installing ballasted mastresses on the seabed, handling tools equipped with electric vibrators, and monitoring the correct execution of work through on-board parameter recorders and GPS positioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate crawler cranes safely and efficiently
• Install ballasted mastresses on the seabed
• Handle tools equipped with electric vibrators
• Monitor work execution using on-board parameter recorders and GPS positioning systems

Requirements:

• Experience as a heavy equipment operator, preferably with crane operation
• Italian nationality (preference due to project location)
• Fluency in English or French (mandatory)
• Dynamic and invested individual with strong teamwork skills
