Sales Support Service Representative

The Sales Support Service is responsible for maximizing customer and order acquisition in line with company strategy. This role involves managing the day-to-day operation of the quotation process from initial contact to project fulfillment handover, as well as technical issue resolution for internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all incoming inquiries are qualified, assessed, prioritized, and scheduled, with customer dates achieved and the customer/SE updated on any changes or alternatives to their expectations.
* Ensure all solutions and services are selected and quoted to an optimum and competitive standard.
* Ensure all incoming orders are technically validated and handed over to the administrative team in an acceptable time frame.
* Ensure pricing and margins are in full compliance with required authorizations.
* Add value wherever possible, suggesting solutions and up-selling a range of products and services.
* Ensure close communication and liaison with sales engineers on all quotations.
* Identify and generate potential sales opportunities with existing and new customers, elaborate proposals, and coordinate other processes to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Present the proposal to the customer and follow up.
* Develop, evaluate, and discuss possible solutions with the customer and sales engineer.
Other Responsibilities
* Encourage customer growth and loyalty to the company through continuous support and customer service.
* Perform accordingly to company strategy in terms of vertical markets, product mix, and selling level.
* Prepare reports as and when needed.
* Actively participate in teamwork for various projects.
* Help keep the customer database updated.
* Implement local business standards.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering, preferably Thermodynamics/Mechanics or equivalent.
* First professional experiences (1-2 years), preferable.
* Should have knowledge of the fundamental concepts of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and HVAC systems, preferable.
* Willing to increase technical knowledge and available to travel occasionally.
* Computer skills: Essential MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Languages: Italian, good in English.
* Communication skills and ability to cooperate with different groups (e.g., customers, clients, etc.).
* Sales and customer-oriented skills. Working within the team.
* Detailed-oriented and very well organized.
