RINA invites applications for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to contribute to the Energy Engineering Solutions Division. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on offshore and onshore projects, providing geotechnical expertise in foundation design and soil-structure interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop geotechnical projects from preliminary phase to detailed design, and technically supervise projects executed by other parties.
  2. Design foundation and retaining structures, including bearing capacity, settlement, and soil-structure interaction.
  3. Develop finite element or difference models for static and dynamic analyses.
  4. Conduct soil and rock sampling to determine compressibility, strength, and other factors affecting structure behavior.
  5. Prepare project schedules and deliverable timelines under the supervision of senior engineers.
  6. Produce technical deliverables, including reports, documentation, and engineering drawings.
Requirements:
  1. Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of project development and design.
  3. Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering is desirable.
  4. Experience in offshore campaigns is an asset.
  5. Proficiency in geotechnical software packages (Plaxis, Gint, GRLWeap, DeepSoil) or programming languages.
  6. Ability to interpret laboratory testing results to determine compressibility, strength, and other factors affecting structure behavior.
