Job Description

Randstad Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in design, implementation, and supervision of civil assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing design development and construction of civil assets, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage design development and construction of civil assets
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of assets
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies, including preparation and submission of bill of quantities and pricing schedules
  • Develop construction projects from design to delivery
  • Ensure all safety standards are followed, both in design and in execution
  • Optimize civil/construction projects in terms of planning, execution, and cost control
  • Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data/reports
  • Regularly update construction schedules with project control teams
  • Identify and prevent potential breaches of construction and supply contracts
  • Manage collaboration with internal and external providers and stakeholders
  • Supervise on-site activities related to civil/construction
  • Adhere to guidelines regarding procurement, compliance, documentation, etc.
  • Accurately file technical documentation
  • Comply with all safety and security rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering with Civil Engineer license
  • Experience in civil engineering (design, implementation, supervision, etc.) with projects exceeding €50 Million
  • Good English and Italian language skills
  • Very good command of AutoCAD
  • Thorough understanding of civil and safety guidelines and international practices
  • Able to multi-task several ongoing construction projects
  • Professional with a hands-on mentality and task-oriented attitude
  • Flexible approach with desire to challenge tasks
