Accounting Expert

Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring complete and accurate financial reporting, and maintaining effective vendor relationships. Key responsibilities include:

Account Payable:

• Accurate registration of outgoing payments
• Preparing analyses of accounts and monthly reporting
• Continuing to improve the payment process
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Prepare and perform check runs
• Vendor master data management and discrepancy reporting
• Accurate processing of invoices, posting, and approval for payment

General Ledger & Asset:

• Salary bookkeeping
• Audit and review employee travel expenses and posting
• Petty cash management
• Fixed asset management and capitalization analysis
• Electronic Archive management for documentation compliance

Treasury Back Office:

• Daily bank reconciliation
• Monitor bank movements
• Preparation of reconciliations package for auditors

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for change and prioritize them
• Constantly define and validate processes
• Collect, collate, and analyze data
• Propose options for change and process re-definition
• Train Accounting staff on new procedures
• Manage and follow up Accounting KPIs

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Information Technology
• At least 1-2 years of experience in the Finance department
• Experience in a multinational company is an asset

Language Proficiency:

The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and have a strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
