Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our main development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new modules and features of our proprietary OSS/BSS application, which covers the quoting, ordering, provisioning, billing, and ticketing of our customer telecommunications services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interactive requirements gathering and requirements engineering
  • Developing new modules and features of our OSS/BSS application
  • Coding of improvements and bug fixes based on support requests
  • Documentation of new features and processes

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience with web application development in a modern object-oriented language (preferably PHP, Java, Ruby, Go)
  • Strong background in object-oriented design (knowledge of UML a plus)
  • Strong database design and SQL optimization skills
  • Familiarity with web technologies: HTML/CSS/JS
  • Ability to collaborate in a dynamic international work environment

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Experience with scaling a large web application
  • Familiarity with Linux
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL
