Eco-Friendly Sustainability Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Eco-Friendly Sustainability Strategist to join our team at Gruber Logistics in Bologna, Italy.

The estimated salary for this position is €45,000 - €60,000 per year, depending on experience.

As an Eco-Friendly Sustainability Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing our company's environmental strategy, including carbon accounting and reporting methodologies. You will work closely with staff functions, fleet teams, sales teams, and solution teams to support the development of low-emission transport solutions and decarbonization actions within international projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Sustainability function in implementing, improving, and updating company-wide environmental decarbonisation actions and strategies.
• Working on carbon accounting and reporting methodologies and tools according to international standards such as GLEC and ISO, including acquisition of new certifications and accreditations.
• Monitoring company suppliers in respect to sustainable procurement policy standards and rates, including the analysis of Fuel Life Cycle based on EU Directives.
• Processing GHG emission calculation requests to customers according to company standards.
• Supporting the development of a platform for collecting and monitoring ESG KPIs.
• Working on annual Sustainability Reports in compliance with ESRS standards.
• Working on research and innovation activities within international projects.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in scientific studies such as Economics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ESG topics.
• Good English knowledge; German will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office with particular expertise in Excel.
• Interest in studying and exploring innovative topics.
• Organisational and coordination skills.
• Result-oriented approach and problem-solving skills.
