About the Role:

Mercer is seeking a highly skilled Workday HCM Lead to join our team in Milan. As a key member of our Digital Transformation department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' transformation and innovation journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of functional flows within Workday HCM deployment projects.
  • Identify strategies, risks, and options, and recommend best practices to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct workshops to analyze functional needs and design target processes to be implemented in the Workday solution.
  • Build or manage the construction of different prototypes.
  • Write and describe processes and integration points.
  • Assist clients in data migration activities to Workday, test strategy and plans, production deployment plans, and related activities.
  • Understand and apply Workday methodologies.
  • Keep the Project Manager informed of updates on the general status of the project.

What You Can Expect:

  • Work on complex projects while developing your leadership and consulting skills with a team recognized in the market.
  • Interact with a wide variety of clients, often in international contexts.
  • Evolving in a positive, caring, agile environment that promotes sharing and initiative.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HCM consulting companies or digital transformation consulting roles in corporate environments of similar size and complexity.
  • Background in and strong understanding of Workday HCM system architecture and data flow.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and processes to translate them operationally through the Workday solution.
  • Proven ability to manage complex vendor, supplier, and sub-contractor relationships.
  • Italian and English proficiency.
