Job Description

FRAG srl is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the contractual documentation of the assigned operational area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the planning and administration of EPC contracts in the Photovoltaic sector.

The Contract Manager will be the point of contact for sub-contractors, working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Project Controller, Engineering, and Construction Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor potential suppliers during the tender preparation phase
  • Identify risks and opportunities, deviations, and shortcomings in the contract
  • Negotiate contract details, ensuring technical specifications are met
  • Verify that economic specifications match those in the contract
  • Prepare contracts based on company standards
  • Negotiate sub-contracting conditions, ensuring alignment with company policies
  • Verify acceptance of orders from suppliers
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on corrective actions and potential mitigations
  • Monitor all order revisions
  • Manage daily contracts of sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Interface with Clients for sub-contractor needs and obligations
  • Issue periodic reports
  • Manage sub-contractor activities, claims, and order variations in line with project requirements
  • Ensure timely receipt of contract results from clients and relevant parties
Requirements:
  • University degree in Economics or Administrative field
  • At least 3 years of experience in projects related to Renewable Energy, industrial (Oil & Gas, Power, etc.)
  • Prior experience in document management and interface with medium/large-sized companies or multinationals
  • Prior experience in managing relationships with Public Entities
  • Knowledge of Public Procurement regulations
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Competence in contract management and standard contract modules (FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Availability for short trips
