We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Estimator to lead the project implementation and direction of cost estimates for assigned projects/proposals.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the estimate plan
  • Coordinate estimated development with the proposal team
  • Lead the development of the total project estimate
  • Prepare the total project basis of estimate
  • Prepare the estimate uncertainty analysis
  • Make cost contingency recommendations

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Accredited engineering degree in chemical or mechanical field of study
  • At least 6 years of work-related experience in Oil & Gas, Energy & Chemicals
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge
  • Ability to attend to detail
  • Ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Stay abreast of current estimating techniques by maintaining expertise
  • Be active in knowledge management

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the estimate plan, coordinating estimated development with the proposal team, leading the development of the total project estimate, and preparing the total project basis of estimate. Additionally, you will prepare the estimate uncertainty analysis and make cost contingency recommendations. To succeed in this position, you must have a strong understanding of estimating techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The salary for this role is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This is a salaried position, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
