About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Field Clinical Specialist to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of our Farapulse system during case procedures within an assigned geography.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide primary clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations to educate customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of the Farapulse device.
  • Attend cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of the Farapulse system and its components.
  • Provide initial and continuous training and feedback for development team and sales representatives on Farapulse, development process, products, and features.
  • Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and discuss and demonstrate how our products can help them achieve their goals.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts in other departments within hospitals and identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of studies within Biomedical Sciences (or a similar subject area), preferably within electrophysiology.
  • Professional industry experience in a similar role is beneficial, however not a requirement.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
  • Professional working proficiency language skills in both Italian and English. Additional language skills are appreciated.
  • Able to rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
  • Strong team player, collaborative, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated and can influence others.
  • Flexible, adaptable but focused and persistent.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively as required by workload.
