About the Role

Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Technician to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our Fulfillment Center team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake risk assessments and implement control measures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for employees
  • Collaborate with site Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with Amazon's safety procedures and legal requirements
Requirements
  • Degree (or equivalent) qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. safety, health, environmental science)
  • Relevant experience in a safety-related role
  • Strong understanding of EHS legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASPP and professional trainer qualifications
  • Lean, 5S, and Kaizen certifications
  • Experience with Gensuite as an EHS application tool
  • Fluency in English and Italian
