GroupM is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Finance department, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between finance and business operations, ensuring that financial insights are aligned with the company's commercial strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with key business stakeholders to provide analysis and insight, supporting business decision-making through the assessment of risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with non-finance teams to ensure financial implications of business decisions are fully understood.
- Analyze client profitability and main drivers to support pricing and fee decisions and negotiations.
- Develop data models to support scenario analysis and new business evaluation.
- Track performance against budget and forecasts, providing insight into variances and recommending corrective actions.
- High level of analytical skills and experience in an analytical role within Finance department, ideally at a fast-paced Company.
- Advanced level of computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and data extraction and analysis tools (e.g. SAS, SQL).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of analytics tools and experience of extracting and utilizing data.
- Confident communicator with experience of influencing commercial teams.
- Proven ability to draw insight from data and make recommendations.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or an analytical related field.
- 3-5 years' experience within a similar role.
- Previous experience in commercial finance and analysis departments.
