Main Purpose of the Role
The Group Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable legislation in each market for promotional activities developed at national and international level. This includes prize promotions, which require careful management to meet national requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and study national legislation applicable to prize promotions in Europe, reporting regulatory developments to internal stakeholders;
- Manage the compliance process for prize promotions in European countries, providing advice on mechanics, prizes, rules, and communication material to meet national requirements;
- Collaborate in drafting agreements for prize promotions;
- Coordinate with Regulatory colleagues worldwide to carry out compliance assessment of prize promotions developed in markets outside Europe;
- Cooperate with Regulatory colleagues worldwide in the analysis of regulatory developments on prize promotions and in the drafting of effective communications to internal stakeholders;
- Support the Regulatory team to manage consumer complaints and administrative cases related to prize promotions, toys, and promotional items;
- Contact with authorities, local agencies, and consultants.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Law or Law-related sciences;
- English oral and written: proficiency level (other languages highly appreciated);
- At least 5 years of experience in a food or consumer product/services business, Law firm, or Consultancy agency in a regulatory and/or legal function;
- Experience in promotional activities and consumer law highly appreciated;
- Flexibility and capacity to communicate effectively;
- Ability to work in a team and to coordinate activities with other colleagues also located in other countries;
- Strong interest in new trends and good knowledge of social media.
