Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Federal Cloud Architect to collaborate closely with our Public Sector business leaders. You will introduce CAST's software intelligence solutions to support mission and citizen systems powering Federal, State, and Local government. Your primary responsibilities include prospecting, delivering product demonstrations, managing pilot and POC efforts, services handoff, and product enhancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting: Work closely with prospects, existing clients, and partners to understand their challenges and design tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrations: Deliver product demonstrations at various phases of the sales cycle, showcasing product functionality, architecture, and value delivered.
  • Pilot and POC: Manage project execution plans, supervising data collection and analysis using CAST technology, and articulating proofpoints.
  • Services Handoff: Ensure continuity to customer success by documenting and presenting accounts to the implementation team.
  • Product Enhancement: Gather feedback from the field, collaborate with Product Management, and impact the product roadmap.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A passion for the app dev world and desire to learn.
  • Experience in application development methodologies (Agile, Lean), technologies (microservices, cloud-based apps, serverless app), and software solutions deployment at enterprise level.
  • Excellent communication skills to gain confidence among VP and C-level counterparts and Development & Architecture leads.
  • Background in software development and/or maintenance of applications.
  • Knowledge of cloud principles and software security principles is a plus.

  • Tech stack: Java, .NET, NodeJS, Python, PHP, Angular, iOS, Android, JavaScript, HTML5
  • Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry, Docker/Kubernetes
  • Legacy systems: Cobol, IMS, CICS, PL/1, RPG
  • COTS: SAP, PeopleSoft, Siebel
  • Databases: Oracle, Postgresql, MSSQL, DB2, NoSQL
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000-$155,000 base plus bonus.
