We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Team and take charge of a wide range of accounting operations.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to leverage their expertise in tax and accounting functions to drive business growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Italian accounting standards (OIC) as well as international standards (IAS/IFRS). Additionally, they will be fluent in English and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining the integrity of financial records.
  • Monitor cash flow operations, ensuring timely tracking of company cash movements and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely processing of invoices and receipts.
  • Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports to support management decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and collaborating with various departments.
  • Ensure compliance with Italian tax regulations, preparing tax filings and VAT reports.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally focusing on tax and accounting functions.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and Italian accounting standards (OIC).
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, as well as accounting software and ERP systems.
