Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Contracting Specialist to join our team at the Department of the Navy. This is a critical role that requires expertise in planning and executing procurement actions, as well as contract administration and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist technical specialists in preparing and developing contract specifications
• Perform pre- and post-award contractual functions
• Develop source selection plans and participate in source selection boards
• Analyze cost and pricing data to determine reasonableness

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment
• Must participate in direct deposit pay program

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution
• Experience in contracting or procurement
• Knowledge of contracting policies and procedures
• Certification in Contracting, Foundational acquisition certification
