Job Title: Senior Project Manager



About the Role



The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of wind energy projects, from sales to final acceptance and handover to Service. This includes ensuring the project team achieves key performance indicators (KPIs) and fulfilling contract requirements.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Manage, coordinate, and lead the project team to secure a safe and successful project implementation, meeting costs, quality, and time targets, as well as other KPIs.

  • Act as the internal representative of the project to support services in the organization, serving as the main contact person and interface between all departments related to the project.

  • Ensure alignment with different functions in defined interfaces, such as Global Sourcing, Legal, HSE, Quality, Supply Chain, or operational departments, and be responsible for financial aspects of the project and risk analysis.

  • Implement QHSE policies defined by the company in all project phases, ensuring fulfillment of HSE and technical requirements at the wind farm site, and managing safety for the project team and subcontractors, as well as other stakeholders affected by this work.

  • Manage institutional relationships, commercial and contractual discussions with main stakeholders in relation to project management and operation execution, claims, disputes, and any contractual matters with clients and suppliers.

  • First point of contact for all parties involved in the project, including customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal or external parties, responsible for claim management from/to customers, and representing Nordex organization to clients to create a good relationship and deliver customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure setup and maintenance of PM tools, secure frequent on-site visits, and control and reporting of performance indicators defined by the PM department.



Requirements:





  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in operative project execution and construction management for complex technical projects in the wind energy sector and/or similar industries.

  • Experience in project management with full responsibility for multi-million EUR contracts, strong commercial and financial acumen, and a technical background with a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in engineering.
