Position Overview

At HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A., we pride ourselves on the quality and innovation embedded in our engineering solutions. As a pivotal member of the Integrated Multifunctional Products (IMP) engineering team, you will engage in the development of cutting-edge technologies that empower our global clientele. Your expertise will be instrumental in a diverse range of design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate documentation and technical specifications as per client requirements.
  • Design, size, and refurbish low voltage electrical panels, including the creation of associated electrical schematics.
  • Conduct electrical and thermal sizing for power line panels.
  • Collaborate with fellow designers and supplier technicians to ensure project alignment.
  • Identify and select electrical components for new design projects.
  • Organize and maintain electrical technical documentation.
  • Gather and formulate specifications based on customer orders.
  • Generate bills of materials for procurement purposes.
  • Assist the purchasing department in sourcing new components.
  • Verify supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with various company functions, including mechanical design, automation design, production, and service.
  • Embody the core values of safety and integrity, taking accountability for your actions while supporting your colleagues and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma in Electrical or Electrotechnical field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with engineering methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Proficient in design software such as Eplan (or E3) electrical CAD and AutoCAD.
  • Fluent in both Italian and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to workplace safety standards.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong organizational abilities for effective project planning and monitoring.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communicator capable of engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural setting.
