Key Responsibilities
- Proficiently manage materials and special processes requirements using DOORS;
- Oversee documentation and activities related to materials and special processes, particularly in torque tightening and riveting;
- Collaborate with both internal and external project teams to ensure successful development of assigned project components;
- Serve as the primary contact for both internal and external resources involved in the materials and special processes design project team, coordinating efforts effectively;
- Demonstrate knowledge in bonding, painting, and corrosion protection techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in executing the tasks outlined above;
- A Master of Science or technical degree in Mechanics or Materials is essential;
- At least 1 year of experience in engineering roles related to materials or special processes within railway vehicle projects;
- Willingness to undertake short domestic and international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with DIN25201 and VDI2230 standards;
- Understanding of Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI);
- Strong analytical skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Adaptability and flexibility;
- Focus on achieving results.
Educational Background
A Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials, along with extensive experience in materials and special processes within the railway sector, is required.
Language Proficiency
Proficiency in written and spoken English at a minimum B2 level is required.
