About the Role

The successful candidate will be part of the Operations team of a major Service Provider, working closely with the client's technical staff and SGB Humangest Holding's colleagues on the same projects.

The main activities of the role will include:

  • Supporting the client's network operations team in managing network infrastructure, analyzing and resolving routing and switching issues.
  • Collaborating with the client to manage network infrastructure, analyze and resolve routing and switching issues.
  • Performing troubleshooting tasks on network issues.
  • Preparing and executing planned activities during scheduled maintenance windows with the client.
  • Upgrading firmware, modifying configurations, updating hardware, and integrating new devices into the network.
  • Migrating network services.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in network-related roles within large enterprises or service providers.
  • Knowledge of leading vendors' solutions.
  • Ability to manage, configure, and administer network devices on multi-vendor infrastructures.
  • Excellent knowledge of dynamic routing protocols, OSPF, ISIS, BGP.
  • Excellent knowledge of LAN and WAN infrastructures, both in the Enterprise and Datacenter environments.

Preferred Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Knowledge of network supervision and orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of Linux-based kernel systems, such as Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS.
  • Scripting skills in languages like Perl, Python, Bash, PowerShell.
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V, KVM.
  • Knowledge of tools for interacting with networks through APIs for automation, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
  • Knowledge of other network and security vendors, such as Fortinet, Check Point, Huawei.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Possession of certifications other than those mentioned above.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
