About the Role

We're seeking a talented Energy Industry Analyst to join our Industry Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in helping us build and maintain our industry data, processes, and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve complex industry-related issues, from root cause analysis to resolution.
  • Provide support in resolving errors and bugs in industry messages, with varying levels of support per country.
  • Monitor the success of our industry products to proactively spot and resolve issues, ensuring a seamless end-consumer experience.
  • Scope out compliance needs and changes, implementing them alongside our Tech team, considering deadlines, capacity, and resources.
  • Liaise with Tech, Product, clients, and others to identify new features in Kraken that need to be built or enhanced.
  • Gather requirements, define approaches, and help write pitch documents for developers to hit the ground running with new projects.
  • Help prioritize work that champions building purposeful, valuable solutions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, including our monitoring and alerting suite, tailored to each country's needs.
  • Create frameworks and documentation to enable self-serve in the business, such as industry glossaries, process maps, and onboarding material.
Requirements
  • Expertise in the Energy Industry of your local market, with a focus on the supplier perspective.
  • An eye for detail to support in spotting and helping resolve errors and bugs.
  • Curiosity and a passion for problem-solving.
  • A data-driven and outcome-focused approach, recognizing what needs to be done and what doesn't right now.
  • A keen desire to make things better and identify opportunities for improvement through automation.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and define problems.
  • Data skills or analytics experience, or a passion to learn.
  • Data visualization and dashboarding skills are a plus.
  • Ability to read and write basic SQL, or a passion to learn.
  • Project management skills, including strong organization and time management.
  • A love of learning across subject areas.
  • Excellent listening skills, as great ideas come from everywhere in Kraken Technologies.
  • Local language and English are required.
