LC Technician Job Description for Siemens Gamesa

We are seeking a skilled LC Technician to join our Italian team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and a strong understanding of electricity and mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform service and maintenance of wind turbines at customers' wind farms, focusing on large components replacement.
  • Use knowledge in electricity and mechanics to independently solve problems on site and ensure high operational reliability.
  • Support customers both remotely and onsite, coordinate service operations, and resolve product issues during large correctives.
  • Perform pre-defined technical tasks such as basic commissioning of products and systems, integration of components to a system, basic engineering, and maintenance jobs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (mechanical or electrical is a plus)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the electricity- or mechanical industry
  • Experience in wind industry is considered a significant advantage
  • Comfortable working at high altitudes and thorough safety awareness
  • Driving license and willingness to travel
