About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to join our Renewables business in Spain or Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, construction, and ownership of renewable energy plants across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Lead a team of project professionals, responsible for performance management, training, and ongoing development.
  • Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of the construction project, monitoring and coordinating work performed by different departments.
  • Manage project resources, processes, systems, and controls, accurately and timeously reporting on projects.
  • Responsible for the proper execution of different contracts for the project assigned, ensuring safety, budget, time, and quality.
  • Manage contractors and internal project teams delivering PV, batteries, and wind projects.
  • Drive and contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization, reducing lifetime costs, increasing internal efficiency, and exchanging best practices.
  • Maintain effective communication with all construction projects, senior management, consenting, engineering, finance, legal, procurement, etc., to ensure consistency in project delivery and resolution of issues.
Requirements
  • Graduated in engineering, ideally Civil or Electrical, with other degrees such as Industrial, Mining, or Telecoms being adequate.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in site management and project management in construction, ideally in the Wind and PV sector.
  • Experience in EPC construction and commissioning large Renewable Energy Projects, with a proven track record in Wind and/or Solar PV.
  • Natural leadership skills, with excellent organizational skills, risk management, and prioritization.
  • Significant project management expertise and understanding of major projects delivery, including project definition, planning, cost, risk, quality, and commercial management.
  • Ability to lead project teams and key stakeholders to ensure robust project performance.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization and to key stakeholders outside the organization.
  • Highly valuable, Membership of/or working towards membership of a recognized Project Management body.
  • Fluent Italian language is required, with highly valuable English language or other European language.
