We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team at Leonardo Hotels Italy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor the approval process of invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Prepare and process weekly transfer lists for payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Process payment of salaries and taxes, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile statements and payment records in the accounting system, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery.
- Assist the team with month-end and quarterly closing activities, providing support and expertise as needed.
- Monitor departmental email, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Excellent command of English and Italian, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Precision, reliability, attention to detail, and respect for deadlines are essential qualities for this role.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach are necessary for success in this position.
