As a Commissioning Engineer at Silent-Yachts, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our solar-powered luxury catamarans. Your primary responsibility will be to undertake the commissioning activities of all vessels, ensuring that pre-commissioning checks are complete and that all systems are properly commissioned.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake commissioning activities of all vessels
  • Ensure pre-commissioning checks are complete
  • Coordinate and plan commissioning activities
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and service engineers to ensure ship systems are properly commissioned
  • Track testing progress and highlight potential problems
  • Quality inspection, snag list, and reporting
  • Prepare commissioning reports and analysis
  • Prepare sea trials reports and analysis
  • Continuous support in improving HAT, FAT, and SAT
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure efficiency in commissioning

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Marine)
  • Knowledgeable and results-driven leader
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken Italian and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Project
