Job Title: Service Associate Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Associate Project Manager to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As a key member of our Business Unit High Voltage team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of projects and ensuring that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets and scheduling targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans, in collaboration with the Project Controls department.
  • Ensure project execution follows best practices and company policies.
  • Monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization.
  • Oversee project financials, including project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow.
  • Identify, qualify, quantify and manage risk, and ensure all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project.
  • Ensure project formal closure, as contractually agreed.
  • Drive formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure required services, materials and equipment for the project.
  • Support Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims and project changes.
  • Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure project compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian language.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Certification PMI/PMP is a plus.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Previous experience in Project management of at least 1/2 years is nice to have.
