Position Overview
This role within illimity SGR is essential for ensuring accuracy and dependability in evaluating potential investment avenues and overseeing existing ones.
Role Responsibilities
As an intern in the UTP & Turnaround Funds team at illimity SGR, your focus will be on investing in UTP credits from a single name perspective. Your contributions will include:
- Conducting comprehensive financial analyses of distressed companies.
- Collaborating with external advisors to perform due diligence.
- Developing economic-financial models and business plans.
- Assisting in the preparation of information memos to aid investment decisions.
- Participating in negotiations with debtors and shaping asset management strategies.
- Managing the processes related to the divestment of assets within the fund's portfolio.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master’s Degree in Economics or Finance.
- Strong analytical skills in budget analysis, Real Estate, and Corporate Finance.
- A keen attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and a strong sense of accountability.
- Effective time management skills.
- Proficiency in the Office Suite.
- Fluency in English.
