About the Role

The Spatial Data Infrastructure Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing web-based spatial data applications, assisting with the deployment and configuration of the system, writing technical documentation, implementing geospatial analysis tools, and establishing project reviews to ensure technical quality and product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop web-based spatial data applications
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of the system
  • Write technical documentation
  • Implement geospatial analysis tools
  • Establish project reviews to ensure technical quality and product delivery

Requirements

  • Consistent understanding of GIS and EO concepts
  • Experience working with GIS-related libraries for creating web-based solutions
  • Experience with EO and GIS software server solutions, both open source and proprietary
  • Knowledge of relational database management systems with spatial extensions
  • Programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, and PHP
  • Knowledge of technologies such as .NET, Web API, and Docker
