About the Role

The De'Longhi Group is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems that meet our high standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product designs that meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software and other tools.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and robust design to ensure products meet performance, cost, and other key metrics.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on product design proposals.
  • Identify and mitigate issues and risks during product development.
  • Operate CAD software and other tools to design and develop products.
  • Organize and participate in design reviews.
  • Fill documents and data, and create and maintain document and data revision registers.
  • Apply material tests and manage simulations.
  • Support labs in module test specification and system test plan to validate technical test results.
  • Create and validate new technical developments of product components and systems.
  • Build interdepartmental working relationships and liaison with internal and external suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in designing mechanical components and systems.
  • Knowledge of 3D design tools (SIEMENS NX) and simulation tools (MOLDFLOW, FEM ANALYSIS).
  • Knowledge of mass production product development and laboratory equipment.
  • Good knowledge of vibration and noise analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and innovation.
  • Flexible and adaptable with excellent time management.
  • Team player with self-motivation and accountability.
  • Fluent English language skills (mandatory).
