Job Title: Certification Engineer

About the Role:
Hitachi Rail is seeking a skilled Certification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Certification Department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our railway vehicles meet the necessary regulatory requirements for placement in service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of documentation for authorization from National Safety Agencies
- Issuance of Homologation Dossiers and verification of compliance with regulatory requirements
- Management of technical documentation and interface with internal departments
- Collaboration with third-party entities to facilitate certification

Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electric, Telecommunication, or Electronic)
- Fluent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Ability to study and evaluate technical specifications, norms, and standards
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
