Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. is currently seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Director to join the team at its Fulfillment Centre (FC) in Italy.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a critical role in managing health and safety within the FC, driving improvements in inbound safety, quality, and productivity, and working closely with Operations Management teams to enhance the level of service provided to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the health and safety function at the FC, supervising staff to ensure objectives are met and implementing process improvements.
- Proactively engage in collaborative health and safety projects across all operations sites, providing authoritative advice and guidance on health & safety matters to stakeholders.
- Drive a behavioural culture change programme across the large, complex, multi-shift operation, reviewing and auditing health and safety management arrangements continuously.
- Provide strategies to plan and organise work systems to reduce health and safety risks, recommending suitable adaptations to plant, machinery, and processes.
- Offer management information and statistics related to the area of responsibility, supporting business change through effective change management processes.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A strong background in health and safety management, preferably with experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive cultural change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Salary RangeThe estimated salary for this position is €85,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience.
