About the Role

**Lead Backend Developer**

MotorK is a leading sales and marketing technology company in Europe, specializing in the automotive sector. Our mission is to empower manufacturers and dealerships to sell more with innovative, cloud-based products and services, offering the best digital customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. **Design and Develop Backend Systems**: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems, providing expertise, guidance, and solutions that align with business objectives.
  2. **Collaborate with Teams**: Collaborate with product owners and development teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
  3. **Ensure Quality**: Spearhead testing procedures, working closely with QA Engineers to ensure high-quality backend solutions.
  4. **Provide Architectural Leadership**: Provide architectural leadership and solutions to drive business growth.
  5. **Coding and Development**: Develop and maintain complex, maintainable backend solutions using PHP/Symfony, Python/SQLAlchemy, or Java.
  6. **Leadership and Collaboration**: Collaborate with teams, provide guidance, and lead by example to drive business success.
Requirements
  1. **Expertise in OOP**: Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming in a PHP/Symfony, Python/SQLAlchemy, or Java environment.
  2. **Database Experience**: Experienced in traditional databases (e.g., MySQL, BigQuery, MongoDB, Solr, Redis).
  3. **Event Messaging Systems**: Experience with event messaging systems.
  4. **Computer Science Concepts**: In-depth understanding of computer science and software engineering concepts.
  5. **Testing and Delivery**: Proven experience in unit and functional testing, TDD, and continuous delivery.
  6. **Third-Party Systems Integration**: Extensive knowledge of third-party systems integration and asynchronous jobs.
  7. **Language Skills**: Good spoken and written level of English.
Working Pattern and Location
  1. **Full-Time Contract**: 40 hours per week, permanent contract.
  2. **Working Hours**: Monday – Friday.
  3. **Hybrid Role**: 4 times a month.
