We are currently seeking a highly skilled Chief Medical Officer to lead our medical initiatives within project teams, guiding strategic direction and decision-making processes, and offering expert medical and scientific guidance. This role requires leveraging therapeutic expertise to inform project development and ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in medical and safety monitoring activities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic medical leadership and guidance on project teams, driving informed decision-making and excellent outcomes.
  • Offer expert medical and scientific consultation throughout project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in medical and safety monitoring activities, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Represent the Medical Affairs Department in business development initiatives, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide operational oversight within the Medical Affairs Department as needed, utilizing your exceptional leadership skills to drive success.

About You:

  • You hold a medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in neurology, possessing a deep understanding of clinical research and its complexities.
  • With a proven track record of medical leadership and consultation within pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries, you excel in navigating challenging environments and achieving outstanding results.
  • You possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ethical standards, consistently upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enable you to represent the department effectively, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide operational management in the absence of senior management, showcasing your adaptability and leadership prowess.

What ICON Offers:
