Bethanie, a leading not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider in Western Australia, has been warmly welcoming and caring for seniors for over 70 years.
We strive to lead the change in the way Australians think about ageing, recognising 'old age' as a positive force in society and giving a voice to those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.
Bethanie provides therapy services to our customers in residential homes and in the community. Our residential therapy team consists of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who work collaboratively with skilled Therapy Assistants to improve the quality of life of Bethanie's customers.
The residential therapy team is supported by a full-time Allied Health Manager. We currently have a great opportunity for a qualified Physiotherapist to work in partnership with residents at our aged care home in Como.

While working as a Physiotherapist for Bethanie, you will be well-supported by a Senior Therapy Team Lead and regular professional development activities.
The Bethanie Therapy team consists of over 40 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, and our focus is to improve the quality of life of Bethanie's residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide evidence-based and goal-directed Physiotherapy services including assessment and therapeutic interventions in the areas of mobility, function, pain and falls prevention and management
- Direct and co-ordinate therapy implementation by Therapy Assistants and support staff
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary program of continuous improvement
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and information systems
This role offers:
- A competitive salary of AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum
- Professionally supported by our Senior Therapy Team Leaders
- Opportunity to pick up additional casual shifts at nearby sites if preferred

About You:
- You have full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Good computer skills, with confidence to use Microsoft Office packages and clinical information systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both verbal and written form
- Commitment to person-centred care
- Demonstrated workload and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
- Current NDIS Worker's Screening Check, or willingness to apply for one
- Willing to obtain required vaccinations – 3 x COVID vaccinations and annual flu vaccination
