RINA is seeking a skilled System Defence Engineering professional to join its team in Rome, within the Space & Defence Division.
Key Responsibilities- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with client development teams to specify system requirements, including functional, non-functional, and interface requirements.
- System Functionality Definition: Identify and describe key system functionalities, considering requirements and final user needs.
- System Specification Development: Organize and structure the System Specification clearly and coherently.
- Review and Approval: Conduct periodic reviews of the System Specification with key client stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of requirements and obtain formal approval.
- Change Management: Manage changes in system requirements during the development process, ensuring they are evaluated, documented, and implemented appropriately.
Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field is required.
Master's Degree in Engineering: A Master's degree in Engineering is highly desirable.
Technical Skills and KnowledgeTechnical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of front-edge technologies and Space & Defence systems is essential.
Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of at least one programming language is required.
Knowledge of Best Practices: Familiarity with best practices and methodologies in the field of systems engineering, including military (MIL-STD-498) and industry standards (IEC/EN/ISO).
Reporting and Analysis: Ability to analyze and process data and represent them synthetically (reports, metrics, graphs).
Use of Engineering Tools: Proficiency in using engineering tools such as IBM DOORS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
