The Role

Veeva's Sales Development Program (SDP) is a comprehensive track dedicated to developing talents into industry-leading Account Partners. This role is a great opportunity for you to start and grow your career in a challenging, dynamic, and innovative environment.

You will be responsible for evangelizing Veeva to pharma companies in Europe, generating and qualifying opportunities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include developing into an expert on Veeva's products, industry processes, and culture.

This is not a normal sales development role, as you will be responsible for the full sales process and exposed to continuous opportunities. You will lay the foundations for a successful career in sales and accelerate your development at a fast pace.

What You'll Do

  • Gain expertise in consulting, product, industry, and sales to become an industry-leading Account Partner.
  • Learn and execute a consultative sales methodology.
  • Work within a defined territory to generate and qualify new leads and opportunities.
  • Research and develop a plan for breaking into your assigned accounts.
  • Partner closely with sales teams to advance and close your opportunities over time.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right Veeva products and solutions.
  • Rapidly develop your sales skills on the job and through training and events.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience in Sales development in Technology and/or Life Sciences.
  • Fluent in Italian, Spanish, and English.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Team-first mentality with proven success.
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative.
  • BA or BS Degree (STEM, Economics, Accounting, etc.) with solid academic performance.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (~25%).
  • Legally authorized to be employed in Spain or Italy without limitations or restrictions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Consulting, Customer Success, or Project Management.
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle.
  • Experience in scientific research or in clinical trials-related topics.
