Job Summary

As a Deputy Logistics Manager at IKEA, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end daily running of fulfillment unit operations, ensuring high-quality performance at the lowest possible costs, and maintaining a safe, sustainable, and healthy work environment. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and engage team members to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure efficiency and implement improvements in operational processes, technologies, and ways of working to enable an excellent customer and co-worker experience.
• Ensure close cooperation and strong communication with the Fulfillment Integration team, unit management team, and external transport/service providers to secure the highest goods availability and customer order fulfillment at the lowest possible cost.
• Accountable for ensuring compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, Standard Operating Procedures, internal regulations, and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Fulfillment Operations team, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion, and well-being.
• Implement the Customer Fulfillment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment.
