Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Photovoltaic System Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Rome, Italy. As an Electrical Engineer - Photovoltaic System Designer, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing raw land, utility-scale photovoltaic power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and review electrical and electronic systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • Process the sizing of HV/MV/LV networks and connection with the project's grid operator equipment.
  • Collaborate on activities related to Terna/Gaudi/E-Distribution portals.
  • Develop final design, drawings, and electrical schematics of both the PV field and connection infrastructures.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering degree (not essential)
  • Knowledge of Italian electrical regulations
  • Experience in the design of electric generation plants and related grid connection systems (minimum 3 years)
  • Flexibility and ability to manage schedules

Software Skills:

  • Autocad
  • Microsoft Excel
  • PVSyst
  • ProLed and other electrical calculation tools

Language: English essential
