SMARTENERGY Group AG is seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Asset Manager to join our team in Wollerau, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the project development department in acquiring and managing PV projects, including Utility Scale, Energy Communities, Green Hydrogen integration, and BESS.
- Manage the development process up to Ready to Build stage for PV projects, including preliminary technical and environmental assessments.
- Define and follow-up project development process, including timeline, budget, cash flows, and necessary reports.
- Monitor project design, identifying and supervising engineering consultants to ensure compliance with permitting, environmental, and construction requirements.
- Liaise with electrical network operators and manage web portals for grid connection execution.
- Cooperate with engineering and construction departments to ensure project success.
- Manage communications, archives, and data flowing between competence centers and the Italian branch.
- Perform initial feasibility and constraints screening activities, including GIS analysis.
- Support development activities with back office tasks, including filing preparations and request documentation.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in developing PV projects in Italy, with knowledge of the Italian regulatory framework.
- Proven understanding of the Italian electricity system, including distributed generation regulations and utilities interconnection procedures.
- English proficiency and ability to work autonomously, with excellent communication skills.
- Master's degree in Electrical, Energy Engineering, or related discipline, with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
