About You

">

As a Senior Data Handling Subsystem Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and delivery of the Data Handling Subsystem (DHS) for various space missions. The DHS is critical to the success of these missions, enabling communication between spacecraft components and facilitating data exchange with ground stations.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, preferably with experience in DHS design or testing at subsystem or unit level. Proficient knowledge of avionics architecture, multicore space-qualified microprocessors, and real-time operating systems is essential. Experience with VHDL and FPGA synthesis tools, ECSS and CCSDS standards, and modeling tools like Matlab/Simulink is also required.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Specify and design Data Handling Subsystems and/or units, including On-Board Computers, Remote Terminal Units, and Mass Memory Units.">
  • Design electrical and communications interfaces, on-board communication protocols, and specification of processor-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop tests, and closed-loop tests.">
  • Procure DHS subsystems and/or units from suppliers and/or subcontractors.">
  • Define and specify test benches used for validation of DHS subsystems.">
  • Support system assembly, integration, and test activities, as well as requirements verification and resolution of non-compliances.">
  • Presentation and discussion of solutions and results with customers.">

Salary Information

We offer an annual salary of $85,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
