Development Fundraiser

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Development Officer. In this role, you will play a key part in securing donations and grants from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other private funding sources.

• Prospect Identification and Cultivation: Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects to meet performance targets set by the Development Leadership team.
• Strategic Planning: Assist in short- and long-range strategic planning activities to create and implement fund-raising goals and objectives.
• Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with development team members, board members, and external constituents to maximize gift revenue.
• Research and Reporting: Conduct research to identify prospects and match their interests with our priorities. Prepare effective, accurate, and timely reports and documents to support development objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of related experience.
• Demonstrated ability in securing grants and gifts from various sources.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with leadership, prospects, donors, and volunteers.
• Ability to conduct research, gather data, and prepare reports to support development objectives.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
