Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Design Engineer - Motion Control to join our team at the IMA Group. As a key member of our Automation Division, you will be responsible for designing and developing software applications for motion control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select solutions and devices for motion control systems
  • Develop software applications for motion control functions, assemblies, and machines based on functional specifications
  • Perform tests, bench or directly on the machine/line, related to the developed software
  • Support Electrical Assembly in machine configuration and power up activities
  • Support Customer Training on machines and perform FAT with customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Automation/Mechatronics/Computer Engineering
  • Technical skills for software programming of Motion Control platforms
  • Good knowledge of English Language
  • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, of medium duration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience of 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably from the automation industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, customer orientation, and team-working with various business entities involved
