We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Workplace Health and Safety team at Amazon. As a Senior Workplace Safety Specialist, you'll play a critical role in driving improvements in safety and efficiency across our sites.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with Amazon's policies and legal regulations. You'll work closely with managers, associates, and local governments to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to improve workplace safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing health and safety programs and policies.
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety initiatives.
- Providing training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures.
- Analyzing data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from equipment and process inspections to assessing processes and building design. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety and inclusivity across our sites.
